Thanksgiving Yams & Marshmallows
Growing up this was always one of my favorite dishes. The sweetness of it is probably why, but it just brings back such great memories. It is very simple and can easily become one of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes as well.
You will need:
1 large can of Yams
1 Bag of large Marshamallows
3/4 - 1 C of Brown Sugar
I use a 9×9 baking dish, but you can use anything of a comparable size. Pour the can of yams into the pan. Next add the brown sugar, less if you want it less sweet or more if you want it more sweet. Mix it well. Lastly, just add the marshmallows to the top until the entire top is covered.
Bake in a 350 degree oven until the marshmallows start to brown. That will usually be about 20 minutes. Serve while it is still warm.
